The Story
Circa 1900, this watering can is beautifully plated in pure silver by our London silversmith over the original brass vessel. The interior is in its original brass condition. Used for watering plants and carrying hot water upstairs to bed warmers back in the day. It makes the ultimate gift for the flower/garden lover - a chic accessory for a flower room - or kitchen island/counter to leave out for its sculptural beauty. They’re hard to find in good condition after over a century of use in England.

The vintage offerings in the HĂ´tel Silver collection are restored and re-plated in pure silver in London by longtime silversmiths. Even with restoration, some of the pieces may sport more patina than others due to their unique history and use which we think only adds to their character and allure.
